Which Bob Dylan Era Are You?

Have you ever wanted to know which Bob Dylan Era you are most like? Well here's your chance to find out! I don't promise that this quiz will generate the answer that you're looking for, as dividing up Bob Dylan's life is really hard...even by decade...but I've tried my best. Ok? Ok.

1) You're a college freshman and you must choose a major. Out of the following, which would you choose?
Music
Undeclared! You can worry about it later....or...wait..scratch that....Philosophy. You like to aggravate people with logic.
Literature
Theology
History

2) What's your favorite season of the year?
Spring --In the spring everything feels fresh. It's like you get to start all over again.
Fall --Fall is a good time for reflection.
I enjoy all of the seasons equally. They each have their ups and downs and you need them all.
Summer --The sun is out and I'm free to run wild and do whatever I want.
Winter --It's cold, damp, and dismal. I like that.

3) You were born in 1980...what do you listen to?
The Beatles. They're the best band. Ever.
Mostly stuff my grandparents probably listened to. I don't know...music today is just....not...music.
I used to listen to Nirvana a lot because they made music that really expressed how I felt. Now I listen to Radiohead because they have a sound like no one else and it intrigues me.
My parents have these 60s folk LPs everywhere...I was sort of raised on them.
Something "popish"...

4) What's your goal in life?
I don't know...sometimes it just seems like the best part of my life has already passed me by...
To get to the other side of the road, turn around, and holler, "TAKE THAT!" really loudly.
To follow in my idol's footsteps and try to be the best I can be.
To get ahead man, that's what we're all here for.
To figure myself out...and figure out how to make it all better...

5) What sort of substances are you into?
I drink some, though not very heavily.
"If you can read this, put me back on my barstool"
Been there, done that. Just give the anarchist a cigarette.
If it'll load me full of energy, allow me to stay awake for days on end so I can get everything done, and maybe have one or two visual side effects, I'm there.
Well I drink beer and smoke pot now and then socially, but it's no big deal.

6) What's your view on God?
I don't really see anything to believe in.
Of course there's a God!
There probably is one...but he doesn't seem to be doing anything about what's going on in his world, and it sort of bugs me.
Does it really matter? Everything is here and now. Why worry about whether or not there is a God?
Somebody must be steering the ship, I mean we Gotta Serve Somebody...I'm just trying to figure out who....

7) Out of these, which would most likely be your motto?
Always look for answers.
Don't forget to look.
Always look at the answers already given.
Always look ahead.
Don't look back.

8) What do you wear?
I tend to gather clothes that would be considered "hip", then I mix them and match them to make my own style. Oh....and I also like polka dots...
Jeans and a work shirt....they don't really fit well either....
Well, do you have any photographs of your grandparents? I wear the things their parents wore.
Some clothes...and a gold cross earring...
Does it really matter? Uh...jeans and a t-shirt I guess....maybe some shades or a hat as well...

9) In social situations, which of these best describes you?
I have been told that my argumentative nature can be quite annoying, so sometimes people avoid speaking to me. I, however, avoid no one and try my best to be the center of attention.
I try to be talkative and to contribute, but I just don't fit in right.
I can either be very quiet, or very outgoing. It really just depends on who I'm with, where we are, and what we're doing.
I tend to just go with the flow and try to have a good time.
I tend to stand around, taking in everything I hear. I often wait for someone to come and engage me in a conversation. Then I rip them to shreds. What fun!

10) Out of these, which is your favorite Bob Dylan song?
Masters Of War
Jokerman
Tangled Up In Blue
Visions of Johanna
Highwater (for Charley Patton)
